The 2021 inaugural edition of the Bayfront Jazz Festival takes place in Miami’s Bayfront Park. The festival’s mission is to honor and celebrate the current and future giants of Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Latin and electronic music. This year’s unique line-up includes Chucho Valdés, Roy Ayers, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Gonzalo Rubalcaba & Aymée Nuviola and Mark Guiliana’s Beat Music. Winner of six Grammy and three Latin Grammy Awards, the Cuban pianist, composer and arranger Chucho Valdés is the most influential figure in modern Afro-Cuban Jazz. In a rich career spanning sixty years, Chucho has pushed boundaries in pursuit of new expressions in Afro-Cuban music. His influence in the genre is immeasurable, his work establishing the standard by which younger generations set out to create their own.

Mark Guiliana is an acclaimed drummer, composer, educator, producer and founder of Beat Music Productions; through which, he will release both My Life Starts Now and Beat Music: The Los Angeles Improvisations as a bandleader later this year.

One of the most visible and winning vibraphonists since the 1960s and part of the Bay Front Festival 2021 is Roy Ayers. Ayers’ 1976 neo-soul album Everybody Loves the Sunshine is one of the most heavily sampled records in hip-hop history.

Dee Dee Bridgewater is a daring performer of great depth whose singing talents have earned her three Grammy Awards as well as a Tony Award. At Bay Front Jazz Festival, she performed together with “The Memphis Soulphony”.
Lea Salonga: Live at Sydney Opera House
Captured in peak performance from the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Salonga performs the beloved songs she made famous throughout her Broadway career as well as her signature songs from the animated movie blockbusters, “Aladdin” and “Mulan”. Renowned worldwide for her powerhouse voice and perfect pitch, Salonga entered the Broadway musical scene with her 1991 Tony-winning performance as Kim in “Miss Saigon” and most recently starred in the Tony-winning 2017 revival of “Once on This Island.” She was the first Asian cast member to play Eponine in the musical “Les Misérables” on Broadway and later returned to the beloved show as Fantine in the 2006 revival. Dedicated to frontline workers across the globe, Alone, Together – From Arena Pula is the latest effort in HAUSER’s continued goal to provide audiences everywhere a much-needed musical escape and solace in these troubling times of coronavirus pandemic. The event features the acclaimed cellist performing his renditions of classic compositions. HAUSER: Alone, Together – Krka Waterfalls, a special birthday performance – HAUSER turned 34 that day – in the stunning Krka National Park, Croatia. Celebrate with him alongside the most beautiful music and breathtaking surroundings and his renditions of classic compositions like Swan Lake, Nutcracker Suite, River Flows In You and The Lonely Shepherd. Of the performance, HAUSER says, „While visiting some of Croatia’s most stunning locations for the ‘Alone Together’ series, I had to include one of the country’s most well-known destinations – Dubrovnik. This beautiful city, with its unique location and stunning architecture, has been shaped by events throughout history – it is little wonder why it was chosen as one of the locations for Game of Thrones. I obviously had to include that title theme in the set list!
