Reamonn plays Avo Session

Reamonn – a German rock band, well known all over Europe – was officially set up in 1998. They produced their first album Tuesday and the first single Supergirl was a major success, it went to gold and became the most played song on German radio in 2000. Reamonn became stars and played at many festivals and concerts. Their third album Beautiful Sky was released in 2003 and went double platinum. They toured with Robbie Williams in Switzerland and Austria. And now they are on tour again – with their latest album Wish.

The Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma at Tanglewood Music Festival

Founded in 1998 by cellist Yo-Yo Ma, the Silk Road Project is an internationally minded nonprofit arts, cultural and educational organization that promotes innovation and learning through the arts. Its vision is to connect the world’s neighbourhoods by bringing together artists and audiences around the globe. The Silk Road Ensemble is a collective of musicians, composers and performing artists from more than 20 countries around the world. In sharing traditions from various cultures, the Ensemble develops and performs new music and multimedia pieces, exploring and expanding contemporary musical crossroads. The Silk Road Ensemble has recorded five albums and performed to critical acclaim throughout Asia, Europe and North America. The Hives at Hurricane Festival

The Hives are a Swedish rock who´s mainstream success came with the release of the album Veni Vidi Vicious, featuring their most well-known song “Hate to Say I Told You So”. They are known for performing in ever-changing, matching black-and-white suits. The band puts emphasis on their energetic live shows, notably with lead vocalist Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist’s engaging onstage banter and his guitarist brother Nicholaus Arson’s crazy stage antics. They have been acclaimed by music critics and fans as one of the best live rock bands in current music.

Yanni – Live at El Morro

On December 16th and 17th, 2011, Yanni, music’s true world citizen and most popular contemporary composer, fulfilled a 20-year-old dream to perform at the beautiful and historic 16th-century Castillo San Felipe Del Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Finally, this melding of both genres has been accomplished with the star-studded concert from award-winning producer Larry Rosen, Jazz and the Philharmonic. HAUSER live in Budapest

In a musical spectacle that transcended genres and pushed the boundaries of classical music, Stjepan Hauser, the renowned cellist, took center stage in Budapest for his groundbreaking ‘Rebel With a Cello’ concert on a magical night. Joe Hisaishi in Concert

Is it a coincidence that so many of the top grossing Japanese films have a score written by Joe Hisaishi? He was a long-term collaborator of legendary Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, as well as Takeshi Kitano. During the concert evening, he presents highlights of his works, such as the symphonic suite for the anime film “Princess Mononoke”, the film compositions for the Kitano films “Kikujiro’s Summer”, “HA-NA-BI” and “Kids Return” as well as his “Symphony No. 2”.
