The Paths of Bach – IV Missae Breves

To conclude their concert tour, Raphaël Pichon and the Pygmalion ensemble will perform two Missae breves and motets in Arnstadt's Bachkirche. During the composer's lifetime,this was the third largest church in Arnstadt. At the age of just 18, Bach was appointed organist here. The organ, which was new at the time, is still in use today.
