For a year, the film follows the pianist Lucas Debargue through his encounters, his discoveries and his quest for music. In his early career, revealed by the XVth International Tchaikovsky Competition, praised by the public and critics, Lucas is confronted with the concerts that come one after another. He discovers the relationship with the conductor and music partners, studio recordings, post-concerts, success and autographs. He has now found his new life, a whole life devoted to music.
Notre-Dame: The Renaissance
Over five years following the devastating fire, France’s renowned Notre-Dame de Paris has once again opened its doors, marked by a glamorous concert to honor its restoration. The event featured performances both within and around the cathedral, along with a breathtaking light show highlighting the structure’s exquisite façade. The cathedral welcomed a diverse lineup of performers, such as Pharrell Williams, Angélique Kidjo, Lang Lang, Benjamin Bernheim, Marion Cotillard, Yo-Yo Ma, Khatia Buniatishvili, Pretty Yende, and Daniel Lozakovich. The concert was conducted by Gustavo Dudamel and featured the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.

The 2024 Concert de Paris was hosted in occasion of the worldwide followed celebration of the Olympic Games. For this unique occasion, the stage was placed in front of an iconic point of the city: the Hôtel de Ville. Several classical music stars participated in the event: pianists Lang Lang and Khatia Buniatishvili, singers Nadine Sierra, Pene Pati and Fatma Said, cellist Gautier Capuçon and violinist Renaud Capuçon just to mention a few. With them on stage, the Orchestre National de France and the Chorus of Radio France conducted by Cristian Macelaru presented an extremely various program that can be enjoyed by the broadest audience: from the famous Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto no. 2, to the well known French song “Sous le ciel de Paris” and opera arias from the French and Italian tradition.

Sensitive Strings – Daniel Lozakovich and his Stradivarius
Young violinist Daniel Lozakovich performs on the world’s greatest stages. Since 2022, he has been playing an exceptional Stradivarius: the Sancy, which was the companion of the legendary Ivry Gitlis for more than sixty years.
The documentary follows the passing of the Sancy from Ivry Gitlis to the Swedish prodigy, highlighting the musical and emotional legacy that each virtuoso leaves on his instrument. It explores the intimate relationship between a musician and his instrument, considered an artistic alter ego of inestimable value.
What does an instrument pass on from one virtuoso to another? How much of Ivry Gitlis’ soul still vibrates under Daniel Lozakovich’s bow? Is there a secret formula for reproducing its magic today? Why can a Stradivarius fetch several million euros and fascinate musicians and collectors to such an extent?
