With ‘Gold and Silver’, André Rieu presents a festive Christmas concert recorded in his home town of Maastricht. Together with his Johann Strauss Orchestra, the star violinist gets the audience in the mood for the festive season and presents a varied programme featuring classical melodies, festive tunes and popular Christmas carols. An elaborately designed set featuring 150 chandeliers, 50 candelabras and an ice rink creates the perfect atmosphere. “Waltz the Night Away!” is André Rieu’s 2025 concert film, recorded on the Vrijthof square in Maastricht. Against the historic backdrop of this famous square, André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra present an open-air concert that transforms the Vrijthof into an atmospheric open-air ballroom. The programme features a varied selection of classical waltzes, well-known pop classics, popular tunes and traditional folk songs. Soloists Emma Kok, The Platin Tenors, Anna Majchrzak, Micaëla Oeste, Madieke Schoots, Michel Tirabosco and Los del Río.
The Exclusive Subscription Concert Series – Yannick Nézet-Séguin & Yefim Bronfman
The Subscription Concert Series of the Wiener Philharmoniker from the Golden Hall of the famous Musikverein are special concerts reserved for subscribers. Due to the exceptional quality of the concerts and the limited offer, the average waiting time for subscribers is more than 10 years. With this series, these very special concerts are made available for the first time audiovisually to a wider audience worldwide. With this concert, Yannick Nézet-Séguin gives his successful debut at the renowned, highly exclusive subscription concerts of the Wiener Philharmoniker. Joining him is piano legend Yefim Bronfman, who lives up to his reputation: “It was gratifying to hear how, in Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto, a relaxed, silky-smooth beauty of sound repeatedly gave way to wiry accents of tension” (Der Standard). Bronfman proved an “ideal partner” (Kronenzeitung) for Nézet-Séguin and the Philharmoniker, who were “entirely in harmony with the soloist” (Die Presse). In the second half of the concert, “Richard Strauss’ Ein Heldenleben was given a refreshingly invigorating shake-up” (Der Standard).

The Wiener Symphoniker give an open-air concert in front of the spectacular backdrop of the Wiener Riesenrad! Around 5,000 visitors joined the concert and took a seat on their picnic blankets in front of the stage. Under the musical direction of Holly Hyun Choe, soprano Ilia Staple, tenor Rolando Villazón and Austrian singer-songwriter Teya take the audience on an extremely special musical journey!
Münchner Philharmoniker, Shani and Seong-Jin Cho in Tokyo
Filmed in Tokyo’s legendary Suntory Hall in April 2026, Lahav Shani and the Munich Philharmonic are joined by the brilliant Seong-Jin Cho in a programme focusing on two groundbreaking firsts: Beethoven’s exuberant, expansive First Piano Concerto and Mahler’s vividly pictorial First Symphony – a work that redefined what the symphony could be as the 19th century approached its end. With Mozart’s Overture to Die Entführung aus dem Serail as an arresting curtain-raiser, this concert presents more than a century of music central to the Austro-German tradition, performed at the very highest level. Peteris Vasks – The 80th Birthday Concert
To mark the 80th birthday of Peteris Vasks, Sinfonietta Riga and the Grammy Award winning Latvian Radio Choir, conducted by their long-standing chief conductor Sigvards Klava, are staging two extraordinary concert events: on the composer’s birthday, a concert featuring his works will take place at St. John’s Church in his hometown of Aizpute, followed a week later by a concert in the magnificent Riga Cathedral. The programme features exclusively works by Peteris Vasks. Among them: Sava tauta; The Fruit of Silence; Cosa devo fare; Agnus Dei and more.
Mao Fujita plays Mozart in Valencia
An open-air concert in the Renaissance courtyard of Valencia’s Old University offers a summer evening of classical music in a uniquely atmospheric setting. The program focuses on works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, enriched by the rarely heard Overture from Vicente Martín y Soler’s opera L’arbore di Diana. Japanese pianist Mao Fujita, who is praised for the clarity, naturalness, and refinement of his Mozart interpretations, performs Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467. The concert concludes with Mozart’s Symphony No. 25 in G minor, K. 183, an early, intensely expressive work characterized by its dramatic drive and youthful urgency. With the Orquesta de Valencia led by Alexander Liebreich, the evening promises a vivid and elegant celebration of classical music — beautifully framed by one of Valencia’s most historic and atmospheric courtyards.
Alim Beisembayev plays Chopin and Karlowicz
Recorded at the prestigious Poznan Philharmonic Concert Hall, this concert brings together three major figures of Polish music history. The Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra performs under the baton of Lukasz Borowicz, with celebrated pianist Alim Beisembayev as soloist. The programme opens with Stanislaw Moniuszko’s Overture to the opera Halka, one of the key works of Poland’s national operatic tradition. This is followed by Mieczyslaw Karlowicz’s Eternal Songs, Op. 10, a richly atmospheric symphonic poem and a landmark of the Polish late-Romantic repertoire. The centrepiece of the evening is Fryderyk Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11, a celebrated concerto that combines virtuosic brilliance with lyrical intimacy, placing the solo piano at the heart of an evocative orchestral setting.
